Bringing your dog?

Dogs are welcome at some of the bungalows we have available at Rosecraddoc, while other bungalows are kept ‘pet free’ in order to cater for visitors with allergies. Rosecraddoc is in the heart of rural Cornwall, surrounded by open countryside and farmland, offering plenty of good dog walking opportunities. Indeed, just 100 metres from the north end of Rosecraddoc is an area of woodland which is ideal for dog walking. Just walk past the Village Inn to the site entrance, turn left into the country lane and look for the style and gate on the right hand side of the road (see pictures). Plenty of other walks can also be found nearby, just a short drive away. See the links below.

In fairness to other visitors we do request that dog owners keep to a few simple rules that are not unreasonable for the setting:

Please keep dogs on a lead and under your control within the grounds of Rosecraddoc.

Please clean-up any mess left by your dog.

Please do not allow dogs on to beds or furniture in the bungalows.

Do not leave dogs alone in the bungalow while you are out.

If you do need to visit somewhere without your dog there is a very good local dog sitting service – Oliver’s (Tel. 01579 320317)

Should you be unfortunate enough to require the services of a vet the most local is Luxstowe Vets who operate a 24 hour service.
