FURTHER INFORMATION

‘Streamside’ offers you comfortable accommodation for up to four people, with one double and one twin bedroom. It has a spacious lounge/diner, a very well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom, with shower. Outside is a car parking space and a small lawned garden, the boundary to which is the narrow River Seaton. The view from the rear of ’Streamside’ is over farmland. The garden also includes a patio, ideal for those ’al-fresco’ meals and drinks.

Entry through the front door leads directly into the comfortable lounge/dining room, pictured below. Large windows bring plenty of light into the room. The lounge has two chairs and a two-seater sofa, along with a radio/cassette sound system, T.V., DVD and video.

The dining area has a round table, comfortably seating four people. It also has a book-case, on which there are plenty of games for young children (and the not so young!) to play on rainy days, as well as a file packed of ideas for days out in the surrounding area.

The main bedroom, with views over farmland at the rear of the property, includes a double bed and built-in wardrobe. The second bedroom, at the front of the building, contains two single beds and again, a built-in wardrobe. Duvets and bed linen are provided for each bed.

The kitchen is very well equipped, and has views over farmland at the rear of the property. There is an electric hob, grill and oven, a microwave oven, refrigerator, sink and draining board. Plenty of cupboards and drawers provide storage for the many utensils. There is enough cutlery and crockery for four residents and one or two visitors. It is quite possible to prepare substantial meals in this kitchen.

The bathroom includes the toilet, wash basin and bath, with an electric shower. The room also boasts the luxury of a heated towel rail.

There are radiators in each room and a night-storage heater in the lounge/dining room. Electricity is paid for through a £1 slot meter. There is no gas on site. The bungalow is well insulated and has double-glazing, so it does not cost a lot to heat, even in winter.
