‘Rosecraddoc Lodge is set in an area of rolling farmland at the foot of Caradon Hill. Although the site accommodates fifty bungalows you can be assured, this is a peaceful and relaxing venue, helped by the sound of the River Seaton in the background. The site was once part of the grounds to Rosecraddoc Manor.

Click here to see an aerial photograph and see how rural it is, surrounded by farmland.

There is no swimming pool and no night club on site, helping to maintain the peaceful atmosphere. There is a ‘pub’ ('The Village Inn') though, that serves good food as well as a range of beers, wines and spirits. This is NOT an 18-30 style holiday venue—quite the opposite, giving you that feeling of getting away from it all. Tourist attractions are not far away though and our 'Places to visit' page highlights some that are within easy reach by car.

All the bungalows are privately owned and many are not available for lettings in the same way as those featured on this website.

The site is well maintained by the resident landlord, with lawns regularly mown and shrubs trimmed. The access road is tarmac surfaced and a 10 m.p.h. speed limit exists. The narrow River Seaton forms one boundary to the site, flowing at the end of the garden to many of the bungalows.

The nearby village of St.Cleer boasts a fantastic Farm Shop ('Taste of the Westcountry'), selling a wide range of local produce at prices which regularly undercut local supermarkets. If you plan to cook during your stay then we thoroughly recommend a visit.

How to find the Rosecraddoc Site

'Rosecraddoc' is close to the village of St. Cleer, a couple of miles north of the old market town of Liskeard. It is on the foothills of Bodmin Moor and about 10 miles from Looe, the nearest coastal town. Plymouth is about a forty minute drive away. For those of you with satellite navigation in the car, the post code for the bungalows is PL14 5FB. For the rest of us, full directions are sent to visitors in advance of their stay, but these maps give an idea of the location, central to many of the attractions of East Cornwall and West Devon.
