Ducks Ditty

'Ducks Ditty' has many features that make it suitable for people with limited mobility, including a ramp to the front door, widened doors, low-level kitchen worktops and appliances and a ‘wet room’ shower with 'shower wheelchair'. All internal doors are sliding, helping to increase accessibility around the bungalow. We also have various pieces of equipment available that can be used to tailor the property to the individual needs of the users in residence at the time. For example, a ‘toilet raiser’ and 'table/chair raisers' are available if required and other items can be hired for the duration of your stay.  The bungalow is a purpose built holiday property with three bedrooms, sleeping a total of up to five people. The main bedroom is a double, while the second bedroom is a twin and the third, accessible through the second, is a small single, ideal for a child or possibly the travelling carer/assistant.

 The front door leads into the lounge area that includes a two-seater sofa and two armchairs, a television and video. The adjoining kitchen and dining area includes a dining table capable of seating five people. The kitchen includes a four ring electric hob, a low-level oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator and several low-level storage cupboards for cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

Outside the bungalow to the front is a patio with furniture, ideal for a barbecue and evening drink. To the rear is the parking space with easy access to the back door into the kitchen area. The bungalow shares a grassed area to the rear with a rotary washing line assigned to the property.

The location, Rosecraddoc Lodge, is very peaceful with the sound of the narrow River Seaton making for a relaxing atmosphere. This is NOT an 18-30 style holiday venue—quite the opposite, giving you that feeling of getting away from it all. Tourist attractions are not far away though and our 'Places to visit' page highlights some that are within easy reach by car.
