The Birches

'The Birches' offers three bedrooms, two doubles and  one single, a very well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar separating it from the lounge area and a refurbished bathroom, with shower above the bath. An allocated parking space, big enough for two cars is to the side of the bungalow, while at  the back is a lawned area with garden furniture, ideal for catching the evening sun.

Entry through the front door takes you into the lounge, featuring soft seating, television and DVD, audio equipment and a coffee table.

Entry through the back door is directly into the well-equipped kitchen, offering a four-ring electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and an ample supply of utensils, cutlery and crockery. Enough here to prepare a wide range of meals for the family. There is also a fixed 'breakfast bar' and a fold-down dining table with chairs.

The main double bedroom is at the front of the bungalow. As well as the double bed the room has a built-in wardrobe, a wall-mounted electric convector heater and a television.

The second double bedroom overlooks the stream at the front of the bungalow and has a double bed, a built-in wardrobe and a wall-mounted electric convector heater.

The twin room also offers a built-in wardrobe and wall-mounted electric convector heater.

The completely refurbished bathroom is equipped with w/c, sink, bath with overhead electric shower and a heated towel rail.

All bed linen is included. There is no gas and electricity is via a key meter. Visitors arrive to a small supply of essentials such as milk.

"We went on holiday with our son, daughter in law, 20month old granddaughter and a Dalmation dog. The lodge was beautiful, it looked very welcoming as we pulled up and we were not disappointed. The inside was aired and very clean through out. The rooms were all good size and there was plenty of hanging room and storage. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we required for our 9 night stay.
The site was very well maintained and kept clean, it was also very quiet. The location is ideal for exploring many places and beaches in Cornwall. There is plenty of information in the lodge about local attractions and dog friendly beaches.
We were met by Vanessa who gave us a thorough tour of the lodge and it's workings, she also told us of a lovely dog walk threw the woods. We would recommend this lodge and site."
